CHICKEN POPTI is one of the Authentic recipes of Agri Tradition ( Marathi Recipe ). made in the month of December to march. Then the main ingredients in people are Vaal(broad beans) and bhamburda leaves made in a clay pot. layered with bhamburda leaves, Vaal, eggs, and marinated chicken. And cooked by keeping the pot upside down on the hay , dry wood, leaves and lit the bonfire for 30 minutes. popti is made during picnics or on farmhouse with family and friends.
